When a Conservative Judge Sounds the Alarm

In April 2025, retired federal judge J. Michael Luttig—one of the most respected conservative legal minds in the country—sounded the alarm once again:

“On his first day in office, the President of the United States declared war on the federal judiciary, the Constitution of the United States, and the rule of law.” ~ J. Michael Luttig

Let that sink in.

This wasn’t his first warning. Luttig has been raising red flags for years. But in April, as Trump openly defied court orders and demanded the impeachment of federal judges, Luttig made it unmistakably clear:

“America is in a constitutional crisis.”

This isn’t partisan theater. This is a conservative constitutionalist telling us the system is breaking.

A president refusing to follow the law. Attacking the courts. Threatening justice itself.

This is not normal.

This is not politics.

This is power unbound by law.

So the question isn’t if we’ve been warned.

It’s what we’re going to do about it.
