Trump Just Declared War on Protest—and the Constitution: THIS IS A CONSTITUTIONAL EMERGENCY

⸻
Today, Donald Trump stood before reporters, flanked by advisors and Secret Service agents, and made it undeniably clear: he does not view the American public as citizens.
He views us as enemies.
He spoke about the recent protests in Los Angeles, where thousands of Americans gathered peacefully to oppose the administration’s escalating immigration raids and military presence in city streets. Instead of responding with humility, or even policy, Trump responded with rage. And worse—he responded with threats of violence.
Let us be very clear about what he said:
⸻
🔴 What Trump Said Today:
“These Radical Left protests, by instigators and often paid troublemakers, will NOT BE TOLERATED.”
“Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump described the protesters as ‘insurrectionists.’”
“From now on, MASKS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to be worn at protests. What do these people have to hide, and why???”
“I’ve authorized 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to secure Los Angeles. We will restore order. Very heavy force will be used if needed.”
⸻
This is not just despicable. It is unconstitutional.
This is a president threatening to deploy military power against citizens for exercising their First Amendment rights—the right to speak, assemble, and petition their government for redress of grievances.
He is now banning masks at protests, effectively criminalizing anonymity, discouraging participation, and inviting retaliation against dissenters.
This is a dictator’s logic:
“If you protest me, you hate the country.”
“If you wear a mask, you’re a terrorist.”
“If you speak, you’re an enemy.”
If you gather, I will send the military.
⸻
⚠️ This Is the Definition of a Constitutional Crisis
This is not a drill. Not a metaphor. Not politics-as-usual.
This is a Clear and Present Danger to the Republic:
• The First Amendment is under open attack.
• The Posse Comitatus Act, which limits the use of military force on U.S. soil, is being subverted.
• Freedom of expression and clothing choices are now subject to presidential decree.
• Peaceful protesters are being labeled insurrectionists—a chilling echo of January 6 distortions used to justify real fascism.
⸻
🛑 We Must Not Comply
We must not allow Donald Trump to order us what to say, what to wear, when to speak, or where to gather.
We must not obey unconstitutional orders masquerading as law.
We must not allow a man, increasingly unwell and detached from reality, to wield military force against his own people while claiming loyalty to a flag.
⸻
✊ What You Can Do Right Now:
1. Call your representatives. Demand action.
• Congress must issue a resolution condemning this threat and invoke the 25th Amendment if necessary.
2. Share this post and let people know what Trump actually said.
• Strip away the gaslighting and the euphemisms. Quote him directly.
3. Support legal organizations like the ACLU, Protect Democracy, and your local mutual aid groups who are preparing for mass detentions and lawsuits.
4. Document everything. If you protest, go in pairs. Use encrypted apps. Wear bodycams if possible.
5. Speak. Loudly. Clearly. Often. The goal of tyranny is to make you feel alone. You are not.
⸻
FINAL WORD:
“This is not about restoring order. This is about imposing submission.”
We are Americans. We do not submit to tyrants.
Not in 1776. Not in 2020. Not in 2025.
If you are angry, you are awake.
If you are scared, you are sane.
And if you still believe in freedom, now is the time to prove it.
