They Tried to Demonize Bitcoin — Just Like the Internet
And now the same elites telling you to stay away are quietly buying in.
It’s become fashionable in political circles — on both sides — to demonize Bitcoin.
The attacks come dressed in concern:
The environment. Financial crime. Investor safety.
But underneath, it’s the same old story:
Fear of change. Fear of losing control.
Fear of a tool that can’t be governed by the old gatekeepers.
Remember when they tried to stop the Internet?
They said it would destroy society.
A playground for criminals. A threat to children. A danger to democracy.
And sure, there were bad actors.
There were unintended consequences.
But the answer wasn’t to ban the Internet —
It was to evolve with it.
Harness it.
Expand access.
Protect civil liberties.
Bitcoin is no different.
It’s not a religion. It’s not a utopia.
It’s a technological breakthrough — a new layer of financial infrastructure.
A decentralized store of value.
Like electricity. Like the printing press.
It can be abused.
But it can also liberate.
So why are we being told to fear the tool itself —
Instead of going after the abusers?
Because Bitcoin threatens power.
It threatens central banks’ monopoly on monetary policy.
It threatens governments that thrive on inflation and control.
It exposes the rot at the core of fiat money.
We’re told:
“Bitcoin isn’t backed by anything.”
But neither is the U.S. dollar.
It’s backed by decree.
That’s what fiat means.
The difference?
Bitcoin has a fixed supply.
It can’t be printed at will.
It’s transparent.
Borderless.
Permissionless.
And that’s exactly what makes it dangerous…
To the ones pulling the levers.
Look who’s buying.
While they demonize Bitcoin, they’re quietly buying it.
• BlackRock — with over $10 trillion in assets — is leading the charge with Bitcoin ETFs.
• Major banks are accumulating behind the scenes.
• Donald Trump — who once called Bitcoin “a scam” — now has a disclosed Bitcoin wallet reportedly worth up to $500,000, held via his company.
• He’s also profiting off crypto-branded coins and tokens created in his name — making real money from the same space he used to publicly dismiss.
The same people warning you to stay away?
They’re loading up — and cashing in.
Meanwhile, you’re being told it’s a scam.
You — the everyday saver. The entrepreneur. The skeptic.
The one trying to build something real and secure something lasting.
You’re told it’s too volatile. Too risky. Too criminal.
But the real Ponzi scheme is the U.S. dollar.
A currency debased year after year —
By design.
I’m not saying Bitcoin is perfect.
It isn’t.
But the coordinated fear campaign against it is revealing.
And history has seen this play before.
They tried to stop the Internet.
They failed.
They’re trying to stop Bitcoin.
They’ll fail too.
So maybe we should stop asking who uses Bitcoin…
…and start asking who fears it.
And who’s buying it while telling you not to.
