So let’s talk straight.

Trump? He’s not complicated. He’s a guy who divides people so he can stay in power. That’s his whole game. Get us yelling at each other, while he robs the place blind.

But here’s the thing — you don’t fall for that if you’ve got street smarts.

You don’t have to like everybody. You don’t even have to agree with them.

But you do need to be smart enough to know when someone’s trying to pit you against your neighbor so they can walk off with the cash drawer.

I’m not saying we gotta hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

I’m saying maybe we just listen for a second before barking back.

We ask what people are really worried about — jobs, safety, being heard — and we say what we’re worried about too.

That’s how we stop getting played.

You wanna get under Trump’s skin? Talk to people he doesn’t want you talking to.

Shake hands with someone you used to argue with. Show up united, not because you’re the same, but because you’re not buying what he’s selling.
