Red, White and Rage - A Song
Lyrics by Joyce Strong, music by Suno
Red, White and Rage [Verse 1] I wore the flag like a promise Back when truth still had a name But I watched them sell it off for gold And light the match in freedom’s flame They wrapped their lies in Bible verses Put the crown on a crooked king And told us if we didn’t like it— We could bow or kiss his ring [Chorus] Red, white, and rage Not the kind that breaks a window But the kind that breaks a cage They pushed us to the edge Now we’re turning the page You can’t kill a country Built on red, white… and rage [Verse 2] He promised walls and golden towers Drained the lifeblood from the land Tore the truth from every border Signed the devil’s deal by hand He pardoned all the traitors And he laughed as justice bled But we ain’t ghosts, and we ain’t silent— We’re the thunder up ahead [Chorus] Red, white, and rage Not the kind that breaks a window But the kind that breaks a cage They pushed us to the edge Now we’re turning the page You can’t cage a people Fueled by red, white… and rage [Bridge] We ain’t burnin’ cities down We’re buildin’ something true With ballots, truth, and firelight We’re comin’ straight for you You took the oath and broke it Now hear the people roar Democracy’s not dying— It’s knockin’ on your door [Final Chorus] Red, white, and rage Not the kind that fears the darkness But the kind that lights the stage No more silence, no more shame No more hiding from the flame We’re the voice of revolution We are red, white… and rage

Ferocious words for ferocious days. We love America too much to give away to criminals. Relish this time in history and stamp out greed and hate boldly and civilly.
Absolutely grabs the rage that every US citizen is (or should be) feeling and every Republican Congress member should recognize.
I dream that in every election, the Republicans find that they are...every one of them..replaced by Democrats or Independents. I'm hoping the midterms turn out that way and then when it's time for the National Election Day (and we still are able to vote; that Kristy’s little gnomes are not successful in the suppression) there will be all republicans voted out.
