If Not Now, When? A Message to Democrats in Congress From the Edge of the American Reality
With all due respect to the Democrats in Congress—
I know you’re tired.
And I’ve seen the recent hearings—
some of you are pushing back with real fire, and we appreciate that. Truly.
But we have to ask for more.
Because out here, we’re not just watching this—we’re living it.
Many of us are paycheck to paycheck, juggling fear and survival.
We’re watching our brothers and sisters dragged off the streets by masked, unidentified men.
No badges. No accountability.
And at this point, anyone could be doing it.
That’s how dangerous and unrecognizable this country has become.
I understand judges want to get it right.
I respect the caution. But at this point, accountability must happen.
The people who follow Trump need to be held accountable—because that’s exactly what Trump never does.
He outsources the ugliness.
He lets others carry out the harm while he hides behind the chaos.
He always has.
And as long as no one is held responsible, more people will follow him, believing this time will be different, this time I’ll be special.
But as Michael Cohen warned us at the very beginning:
If they can do it to him, they can do it to anyone.
We don’t need more concern.
We need action.
This government is not just broken.
It’s been hijacked.
We are no longer on the brink—we’re in free fall.
So please:
Don’t just speak.
Disrupt. Lead. Fight.
Because if Democrats won’t act now—then when?
