We wonder if you are willing, and able, to stand once more for that quiet oath so many took in good faith—the oath to protect the Constitution above ambition, above fear, and above any single man’s will.

There is no one we can name more suited to guide this work with the gravity, decency, and clear-eyed courage it requires.

Though we have not gathered in the same square or signed the same ledger, we are countless—well over 100 million, woven together by nothing more or less than our conviction that the rule of law must endure, and that no office is beyond accountability.

If you can no longer step forward yourself, we ask only this: point us toward another who has sworn that same oath, who still feels it stirring in their chest like a heartbeat, and who will stand with us—calmly, lawfully, and without violence—to see it honored.

This is not a call to arms. It is a call to conscience—a simple invitation to remember who we are when we are at our best.
