1,500% Off Your Prescriptions? Donald’s Drug Price Lie Is a Dangerous Fraud
Today, Donald told the American people he’s going to reduce drug prices by 1,500%.
Let that sink in.
A 1,500% reduction in price isn’t just impossible—it’s mathematically absurd. A 100% reduction brings a price to zero. Anything beyond that would require drug companies to pay patients to take their products. That’s not healthcare reform. That’s not economic literacy. It’s a calculated lie, designed to manipulate people who are desperate for relief.
And beneath that outrageous number lies an even more harmful deception—because even if Donald’s plan were implemented, most Americans would see no benefit at all.
What’s Actually Happening
On May 12, 2025, Trump signed an executive order implementing what’s called Most-Favored-Nation (MFN) drug pricing. It mandates that pharmaceutical companies charge Americans no more than they charge the lowest-paying developed countries. Sounds promising. But there’s a massive catch.
This policy doesn’t apply to the medications most Americans rely on every day—like insulin, blood pressure meds, antidepressants, or antibiotics.
It only applies to a narrow class of high-cost specialty drugs, mostly the kind administered in hospitals or clinics—such as injectable biologics used in cancer treatment or autoimmune disorders. The policy targets some of the most expensive drugs under Medicare Part B. But if you’re filling prescriptions at your local pharmacy each month, the odds are high that this policy does absolutely nothing for you.
In other words, the average American will not see drug prices fall under this plan.
This Isn’t a Mistake. It’s a Racket.
Donald’s 1,500% claim isn’t some exaggerated boast—it’s a fraud. It creates false hope for millions of Americans suffering under the weight of soaring prescription costs. People are rationing medication. Skipping doses. Going without.
To lie so boldly about a basic necessity—and weaponize that lie for political gain—is more than immoral. It’s dangerous.
Especially coming from the same man who:
• Gutted Medicaid expansion and weakened protections for low-income patients
• Sabotaged the Affordable Care Act at every opportunity
• Lied to the public about the risks of COVID-19 while thousands died
• Enabled price-gouging and profit-driven health policy for four years
• And now governs again with the same authoritarian instincts—this time, with even fewer restraints
This isn’t about policy. It’s about performance. Trump isn’t solving the crisis—he’s staging a con and hoping no one checks the math.
You Deserve the Truth
If your prescriptions aren’t cheaper next month, or next year, that’s not your fault.
You didn’t misunderstand the policy.
You were lied to.
The numbers never added up. And they were never supposed to. This is how authoritarian regimes operate: they flood the zone with fake victories, declare war on reality, and count on people being too exhausted or afraid to fight back.
Trump’s 1,500% drug price cut is a headline scam. It’s medical gaslighting. And the people who fall for it—again—will be the ones who need real help and won’t get it.

No surprise here...EVERY word he says is either a lie - or - some fantasy he has pulled out of thin air!
It's actually more of trump's cruelty and gaslighting. He doesn't care if it's obviously not so. His credulous followers will absorb it and carry on worshipping their orange idol/idle.
